Full Job Description

2+ years of experience in machining and fabrication
-
Experience with setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 axis mills and 4 axis lathes. Experience with Okuma control is a plus.

Competency in recent versions of CAM software systems such as Mastercam, BobCam, etc.

Competency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks,

Good understanding of G & M code and ability to edit code at the machine

Engineering drawing interpretation and inspection using GD&T per ASME Y14.5

Ability to plan projects, select proper tooling for materials, and setup machines
-
Familiar with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and providing DFM feedback to coworkers

Experience machining a wide variety of aerospace alloys including nickel-based super-alloys
-
Fluent in use of precision inspection equipment

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
